Chelsea have agreed a €40 million (£34.5m) deal to sign Ajax centre-back Jorrel Hato, according to reports.

The Athletic report that Chelsea and Ajax have now agreed a transfer fee for the Netherlands international, who will now undergo a medical.

Hato will become Chelsea’s fourth summer signing after Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, while Estevao Willian, Kendry Paez, Dario Essugo and Mamadou Sarr have also joined Stamford Bridge this summer.
