Chelsea are open to selling Noni Madueke this summer after Arsenal made an approach to sign the winger, according to reports.

Madueke was signed in a £28.5 million deal from PSV in January 2023 and has 20 goals and nine assists in 90 appearances for Chelsea so far.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are in the market for a new winger, as well as a new striker, and Madueke is on the club’s shortlist.

According to Sky Germany, Arsenal have held talks with Madueke’s representatives over a potential move to Mikel Arteta’s side this summer.

Elsewhere, The Athletic report that Chelsea do not consider Madueke as one of their ‘untouchable’ players, meaning that they would consider an offer from their Premier League rivals.

Last month, it was reported that Chelsea would demand a £50m transfer fee for the 23-year-old.

Madueke primarily plays on the right side of Chelsea’s attack and would be brought in to Arsenal to provide competition for Bukayo Saka.

When asked about Madueke’s future before Chelsea’s defeat to Flamnego in the Club World Cup, Enzo Maresca suggested that the club had no plans to sell the winger.

‘Noni is our player, you can read a lot of speculation at the moment but we consider Noni our player for the coming season,’ Maresca said.

Chelsea have already strengthened their attacking options with their £30m deal for Liam Delap this summer.

But they are also set to sign Brighton forward Joao Pedro in a £60m deal from Brighton, while an agreement is expected to be reached with Borussia Dortmund for Jamie Gittens.
