Authorities arrested three people this Friday, October 31, including Armando Nava Gallegos, alias “El Charro”, regional leader, main generator of violence and in charge of drug distribution, extortion, kidnappings and homicides for the criminal organization Cártel Nueva Generación (CNG) in the state of Aguascalientes.
Along with him, José Manuel “N” and José “N” were arrested After an investigation in which two properties that were used by the alleged criminals as operation and shelter points were identified, cash, vehicles, weapons, ammunition and drugs.
After the arrest approved by order of the control judge, the three men were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Ministry agent who will determine their legal situation, according to the statement from the Security Forces.
According to sources, Armando “N” is an alleged trusted man of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes alias “El Mencho”founder and leader of the criminal organization and to whom, for his capture, the United States government offers a reward of 10 million dollars.
Elements from the Secretariat of National Defense (Defense), National Guard (GN) and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) participated in the operation.
The CNG is considered one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in the world, with a presence in almost all states of the nation and other countries.
In addition, it is one of the six Mexican groups that the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) designated as terrorists in February, in addition to the Sinaloa Cartel, the Gulf Cartel, the Northeast Cartel, the Michoacana Family and the United Cartels.
