Confirmed: When Springboks will name team to face All Blacks

The Springboks return to action this Saturday for a crucial clash against the All Blacks at Eden Park, which could go a long way to deciding the eventual Rugby Championship winner.

Since arriving in New Zealand last week, the Springboks had their second training session of the week on Saturday, and had Sunday off to rest and recover fully from the trip before switching into full Test match mode on Monday.

During the first two rounds of the Rugby Championship, Rassie Erasmus named his matchday squad early in the week, on a Monday or a Tuesday.

However, it is interesting to note that this week the team will only be revealed on Thursday, at 08:00 SA time, with Erasmus opting to not give anything away until then.

Will Faf de Klerk feature for Springboks against All Blacks?

In case you missed it, experienced scrumhalf Faf de Klerk joined the Springboks in New Zealand for the second leg of their Rugby Championship campaign against the All Blacks, where they will play matches in Auckland and Wellington, as additional cover in the key position.

It will now be interesting to see whether he could be brought straight into the matchday 23 despite three other scrumhalves having travelled ahead of him in the original squad.

What do you think the team will look like?
