Gary Windass (Mikey North) is set to take justice into his own hands as he turns vigilante, it has been revealed in recent Coronation Street scenes.

The local builder recently teamed up with scaffolder Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) as part of a new business agreement and the men have formed a nice friendship.

In tonight’s episode, Gary was shocked to find that the builder’s yard had been trashed, and Theo was sat among the wreckage.

Poor Theo was in a bad place after seeing a flyer for Noah’s church group.

Viewers will know that Noah recently re-emerged in Theo’s life after previously subjecting him to conversion therapy.

Thanks to Noah’s cruel actions, Theo spent years trying to deny his feelings for men, until he met Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and finally began accepting who he really is.

The beginning of their relationship was rough going, with Todd shocked to learn that Theo had a wife and children.

Now, Theo and Todd are living together, though things have been tense since the revelation that ex-wife Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) is now seeing Noah.

In tonight’s episode, Theo was horrified to see a picture of Noah, Danielle and his kids, Miles and Millie, on a flyer for Noah’s church, promoting ‘traditional family values’.

After everything Noah has put him through, it is no surprise that this triggered Theo, and drove him to take out his rage on the builder’s yard.

Fortunately, Gary was incredibly understanding when Theo explained what had caused his outburst, helping him clean up his injured hand and providing a listening ear for his friend.

The pair then headed to the Rovers, where Theo admitted that he was worried how Todd would react to how he is coping with Noah.

Gary was quick to reveal that Todd had once had Pat Phelan as a stepdad, and understands what it feels like to have someone evil hovering around.

Unfortunately, when Todd arrived at the Rovers after being let down for lunch by Theo, he got the wrong idea about the situation.

Thankfully, Theo later opened up to Todd, explaining that seeing Noah with his kids on the flyer had sent him over the edge.

Todd was completely understanding, and with things all patched up between them, Theo went to thank Gary for his support.

The conversation soon turned back to Noah, with Gary warning Theo that attacking Noah would put Theo at risk of not being able to see his kids again.

However, Gary made it clear that he was willing to step in and teach Noah a lesson.

He argued that he had seen Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) be severely bullied and had recently ended up in hospital himself, and was sick of seeing bad people come out on top.

What exactly does Gary have planned for Noah, and will he come out of it alive?
