Coronation Street fans have called out a major error in recent scenes amid big twists for the Webster clan.
Kevin Webster’s (Michael Le Vell) marriage has been at crisis point since his cancer lie came to light earlier this week, driving Abi Webster (Sally Carman) away.
After being given the all clear from testicular cancer several months ago, Kevin told Abi that he needed to undergo more treatment, in a bid to stop her from leaving him for brother Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard).
There has been tension between Abi and Carl ever since he arrived in Weatherfield, with the pair sharing several charged moments.
Kevin’s lies finally caught up with him last week when he was taken to hospital, having attempted to chase after a car that had been stolen from the garage.
As Kevin confronted Carl about his involvement in the theft, he was left shocked when Carl revealed that he knew the truth about his cancer.

He explained that one of the nurses had told him that Kevin hadn’t had a chemotherapy session in months – something that didn’t sit right with fans.
‘Why would the nurse tell Carl that Kevin has finished his chemo? That’s patient confidentiality broken,’ one fan wrote on Twitter/X.
‘So another nurse in another soap has disclosed confidential patient information (this time about Kevin) without the patient’s consent!’ Another added.

‘Patient confidentiality: that nurse has no right to let slip about Kev finishing chemo,’ a third said.
With Kevin’s lies having been exposed, Abi gave in to temptation and slept with Carl, before he decided to call things off after Kevin threatened to report his dodgy dealings.
Despite having decided to leave Kev, Abi was persuaded by Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) to stay.
Will they be able to fix things, or has too much come between them?
