Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) has been seriously injured following an altercation with Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton).
It all kicked off when the killer – who has been imprisoned for several months for murdering Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) – decided to escape from his cell.
He was planning a new life with son Brody (Ryan Mulvey), wife Lou (Farrel Hegarty) and their daughters Joanie and Shanice.
It wasn’t long before Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) clocked the plan, and whisked Brody and Joanie off to Kit’s flat. Nobody was aware of the full extent that Mick was prepared to go to reunite with his family, though.
At the prison, he climbed under a laundry van before later dropping down into the street. Brody had tipped him off that Shanice was at Weatherfield High – and that was his first stop.
After tormenting Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) and Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner), he locked Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Orla Crawshaw (Carla Mendonça) in the school office to ensure they couldn’t alert authorities.

He then rushed off to the cobbles, knowing that Joanie had returned from her taster day.
Charging into the factory to find her, he held Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) hostage in the office. Luckily, Kit had been tipped off about his escape and followed suit.
A huge argument escalated, and then Mick became aware that Joanie had been smuggled onto the roof by Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor).
Racing up the staircase, Kit’s behaviour then turned physical in a bid to stop him. Punches were thrown, and then a knife was produced. Unfortunately, Kit was on the receiving end.
After being rushed into hospital, Bernie and Sarah watched on, hearing that he was in a critical condition.
Metro is choosing to keep quiet about Mick’s fate, so you’ll have to tune in to find out!
