In the modern business world, there are several retail business empires that have stores in several countries that allow them to serve millions of customers. While that clearly is a major achievement for any company to pull off, most of them fall short of Costco in one major way. Thanks to a series of meaningful business decisions, Costco has managed to make many of its customers feel especially invested in the company and its various offerings.
Since many Costco customers are so invested in the business, there are many active conversations about the company at any given time. In December 2025, an excited conversation about Costco focused on a relatively new and very sweet bakery item that the company’s fans are talking about online.

Since Costco has many customers who care so much about the company’s various offerings, there is an active subreddit dedicated to everything related to its warehouses and website. One of the topics that is most commonly discussed and debated on the r/costco subreddit is how the company’s customers feel about the products they sell. People who frequent the subreddit seem to be especially interested in products produced by Costco, like Kirkland brand items.
On December 14, 2025, a user on the r/costco subreddit posted about a product sold by the company’s bakery that resulted in an active discussion amongst the subreddit’s users. The post was from a Costco customer who praised the bakery’s twice-baked almond croissants. “Just found these bad boys in the bakery aisle. So good and definitely an upgrade from the grocery store ones with a decent price to boot.”
In response, several different clearly interested Costco customers commented, asking questions which confirmed that the croissants are sold six to a package and contain filling. The real indication that Costco customers are interested in the product is that there were also several responses trying to learn which warehouse locations are selling the almond croissants.
Similar to the original poster, there were also other users on the r/costco subreddit who stepped forward to give the croissants their seal of approval. For example, one person commented that getting to try the croissants thanks to one of Costco’s legendary sample offerings instantly convinced the customer to buy them. “They are sooo good. I saw them on some video and when I got to Costco they were sampling it. Made my choice right there.”
Another one of the comments on the Reddit post praised Costco’s twice-baked almond croissants for their high quality. “Top tier purchase! I got these a couple of weeks ago they were gone almost immediately 😅” Perhaps the most revealing comment came from another user who responded to someone who stated that they hadn’t bought the croissants out of fear they would devour them all. That person commented, admitting that they bought the croissants, and they didn’t last long. “That’s what happened in my house. They are delicious.”
