The Costco coffee aisle is brimming with a variety of options, everything from bags of Kirkland blends to fair trade pods to bottles of cold brew concentrate. If you’re a coffee fan, there is surely something down the aisle for you.
One of their limited-edition packs that fans seem to love is Crafted Classics Coffee K-Cup Pod Variety Pack. It comes with 72 pods from various coffee roasters, including Donut Shop, Caribou, Tully’s, Lavazza, Green Mountain and Newman’s Own. The box retails for $41.99 and is currently $10 off, bringing it down to $31.99.
There are 12 K-cup pods of each flavor. Costco states they’re “exquisitely crafted, expertly roasted, medium roast varieties that bring coffeehouse quality home to you”. Each coffee variety is caffeinated and uses 100% Arabica beans for roasting. The breakdown of varieties is as follows:
- Donut Shop Regular, which is full-bodied, bold and flavorful
- Caribou Blend, an inspired merging of sweet, spicy and berry notes
- Tully’s Coffee Hawaiian Blend, that is artfully slow-roasted to express mild sweetness
- Lavazza Dolcevita CLassico, which is rich and full-bodied with notes of roasted nuts
- Green Mountain Costa Rica Paraiso, a sweet and exotic blend with notes of honey and graham crackers
- Newman’s Own Organic Special Blend, that is an extra bold, full-bodied blend of medium and dark roasts
This box has a 5-star average review on Costco’s website. Most reviewers are fond of the variety pack. “Excellent variety of high-quality Keurig cups. Costco did a great job of selecting the very best coffees. I buy this variety pack every time it’s available at Costco”, said one fan. “Love it!”, exclaimed another.
Per Keurig’s website, 100% of K-Cup pods are recyclable. They’re made of recyclable polypropylene (#5 plastic) and are widely accepted in recycling systems across the U.S. They recommend checking with your local recycling provider to see if they take small items like K-cups. In general, the lid must be removed and discarded and the pod washed and dried to go into recycling.
The variety pack sale price ends September 21, so if you’re in the market for a refill of K-cup pods and want to try out a limited-edition pack, this may be the fit for you.
