Costco’s New Protein-Packed Milkshake Has Shoppers Calling It the ‘Best Tasting Protein Shake, Period’

Protein shakes are lining the shelves of grocers and warehouses, and often it can be overwhelming to make a choice that fits your goals. Some prioritize macros, others flavor, and some look at price point. Most people want all of these, and for good reason. Our latest Costco find may just check all of the boxes.

Nurri Protein Milk Shakes have 30-grams of protein, 1-gram of sugar and 150- calories. Their ultra-filtering process and the addition of the lactase enzyme makes them lactose free, yet they’re a source of 10 vitamins and minerals. Nurri calls them milkshakes, and that’s because they’re made with a touch of cream for that rich, indulgent flavor.

“It’s great. I love it. It is, by far, the tastiest protein drink I’ve ever had. It’s not chalky, it doesn’t get super separated and leave a bunch of sludge at the bottom of the can”, said one reviewer.

“I was skeptical, tried one can now I’m hooked. Big dosage of protein, low sugar, lite, not as thick as ensure with a good price point compared to other brands. Hope they keep it as a lineup”, stated another fan.

Another reviewer noted she tolerates Nurri well, despite having a milk intolerance, stating “For those who can’t tolerate milk based protein, this one has NOT given me any GI issues at all. I was skeptical as it uses milk, and I have also had problems with some plant based drinks as well. This specific brand was recommended to me by my healthcare provider when we were discussing alternative protein supplement that won’t cause my GI issues”.

Nurri also makes vanilla, strawberry and mocha milk shake protein drinks, which are sold at various retailers and on their website. If you’re seeking a protein drink that gets you 30-grams closer to your daily target, Nurri may be for you.
