WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WJBF) – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is urging people to avoid the 800 block of Hancock Landing Road in Waynesboro due to a crash.
According to the sheriff’s office on Wednesday, Aug. 13, deputies are currently on scene working a crash with injuries.
The roadway is expected to be shutdown for several hours. Drivers are asked to find an alternate route if possible. Those in the area are asked to drive slowly as first responders continue to work the scene.
