It’s finally here, and it’s just as good as you imagined it. Crumbl’s Dubai Chocolate Brownie is a rich and indulgent treat that has fans happily paying close to $8.
After polling social media and testing cheesecake and brownie flavors, the brownie version came out on top. Released on August 18, it’s already become a fan favorite.
What’s in the Brownie?
According to their website, this is “a soft fudgy brownie with a crunchy Kataifi and pistachio filling topped with a layer of milk chocolate and drizzled with even more pistachio cream.”
Served chilled, the thick brownie layer is moist, dense, and fudgy. It’s topped with a crunchy and buttery pistachio layer. Kataifi pastry is a Middle Eastern staple made of shredded phyllo dough, but this takes it up a notch with the rich pistachio cream.
You can also get a mini version if you don’t want to go all in on the regular brownie size.
Is It Worth It?
A single Crumbl cookie is $4.99, but this new release, like other limited-time offerings, has an upcharge. While some upcharge fees are just 29 cents, this is one of the highest upcharges we’ve seen, so is it worth it?
Pistachios are considered one of the more expensive nuts around, and you get a pretty thick layer of the Kataifi filling, as well as a good amount of brownie to complement the crunchy nuttiness.
Beyond the premium ingredients, the multiple layers, hand-piping, and assembly add to the labor costs. Then, you have the whole hype surrounding Dubai chocolate. Ultimately, it comes down to flavor, and this one is getting 10/10s all over the place.
What Do Fans Have to Say?
Crumbl’s Dubai Chocolate Brownie is going down in the history books as one of the best Crumbl desserts of all time.
“I go to Dubai regularly and love the Dubai chocolate bar, so this was a must, and WOW 10/10!!! It was $2 upcharge and tbh I’d of paid more!,” raved one reviewer.
“I KNOW you see that cross section??? They put their whole HEART, SOUL, AND DIVINE ENERGY into this damn thing,” praised another happy customer.
Many fans are speculating that this might be the second encore dessert to make a comeback for a second week. Benson Boone’s Moonbeam Ice Cream cookie was the first.
Don’t take your chances, though. Get this one while you can!
