Crystal Palace have held talks over a move for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, moving ahead of Fulham in the race for his signature.
The 25-year-old came through the academy system at Arsenal and made his debut for the club under Arsene Wenger but is surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
Despite playing his first Gunners games in the 2017-18 season he has made just 50 Premier League appearances for his boyhood club.
The England Under-21 international spent loan spells with German club Hoffenheim and Dutch side Feyenoord before a stint with Fulham last season.
It was a move across London that was hampered by injury after a decent start, making 11 Premier League appearances in the first half of the campaign.

The Craven Cottage side were linked with another move for Nelson this summer, with talks reportedly held over another loan deal.
However, it now appears that the Eagles are ready to swoop and beat their London rivals to snap up Nelson on a permanent transfer.

The Sun report that last season’s FA Cup winners have been in talks with Nelson’s representatives and fancy their chances of clinching a deal.
Out of favour in north London, Nelson is likely to be available for just £15m and is keen to move in search of regular football.
While he would be further up the pecking order at Selhurst Park, especially since the sale of Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, there is still plenty of competition for places in Oliver Glasner’s side.

The Eagles have already agreed to sign Yeremy Pino from Villarreal in a deal that could be worth up to £26m.
The 15-cap Spain international has made over 150 appearances for Villarreal at just 22 years old and will hope to be a starter in Glasner’s side.
Palace are also being linked with bringing Atletico Madrid midfielder Connor Gallagher back to the club and signing Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis.
