Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines has not spoken to her former TV husband since the show wrapped.
The actress sat down with Billy Bush for a Monday, October 27, appearance on his “Hot Mics” podcast where she spilled on the relationship.
“Well, I haven’t talked to him in a while,” Hines admitted, confirming that they hadn’t spoken since “probably” the finale party in April 2024.
She added, “I love Larry, and I think Larry loves me.”
According to Hines, her distance from David, 78, is “just politics.”
Hines is married to Donald Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which David has been a longtime liberal and vocal opponent of the administration.
“I don’t think it’s on either of us [to reach out],” Hines added of the distance. “I think it’s interesting, you know, I do have one friend I’d talk to almost every day, who now she doesn’t talk to me. … But with Larry, he’s not one [where] you call and chat with him. I do feel, like, if I had a reason to call him, he would talk to him. I don’t think he would not talk to me.”
Hines starred alongside David as his wife through most of the show’s 12 seasons. The actress even revealed that it was David who initially introduced her to her now-husband.
