AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – On Sunday, July 13th, at 7:48pm, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic accident on Cumming Road at Hickman Road.
Upon arrival, Deputies learned a SUV was stopped at the intersection waiting for another vehicle to turn.
A bicyclist was traveling east on Cumming Rd at Hickman Rd, failed to stop at the stop sign and hit the front of the SUV.
The bicyclist was at fault for failure to stop at a stop sign.
They were transported to a local hospital and was listed in serious condition.
