Singer D4vd is under the spotlight after news broke of a dead body being discovered in a Tesla registered under his name. Los Angeles police answered a call of a foul odor coming from a car parked in a Hollywood lot. They soon discovered a decomposing body. D4vd is currently on tour and has been reported to be cooperating with police.
Since news of the continuing investigation into what authorities are calling a homicide, D4vd has been dropped from his campaigns with Hollister and Crocs.

- A body was found in an “abandoned” Tesla in a Hollywood lot that’s one of many vehiles registered under D4vd’s name.
- The badly decomposed body was found wrapped in a plastic bag in the front trunk of the car. Authorities didn’t find the body intact, with The Los Angeles Times reporting that the remains amounted to a “head and torso.”
- TMZ reported the medical examiner released details of the victim being a female who is about 5-foot-1 and 71 pounds.
- Details of the female include her having black hair, wearing a tube top, and black leggings.
- The victim also has a “Shhh…” tattoo on her right index finger and was found with two pieces of jewelry: a stud and a metal chain bracelet.
Crocs and Hollister Remove D4vd Ads
Before news of the grim discovery, Crocs and Hollister announced their collaboration with D4vd for their “Dream Drop” campaign as one of its featured artists. Having dropped on September 3, the campaign features the Crocs Classic Unforgettable Clog and marked the first collaboration for the new style.
It’s also a continuation of Hollister’s Feel Good Fest that celebrates music and community. The partnership invites customers to pair Hollister’s matching fleece sets with Croc’s new fuzzy clog.
Footwear News released the news that the Crocs and Hollister campaign have decided to pull all promotional material with D4vd.
“We are aware of this developing story. With respect to the current situation, we have removed campaign content featuring D4vd while the investigation continues,” they said in a statement.
D4vd has been made aware of the homicide investigation, but continues his scheduled “Withered” world tour.
