D4vd remains under suspicion as the police probe continues into the death of teenager Celese Rivas, whose remains were discovered in his abandoned Tesla.
To be clear, the singer, 20, has not been accused by authorities in connection with her death, and no one has been arrested. However, police have searched a home linked to D4vd, he’s cancelled his tour, and he’s lost promotions for his album. In addition, a series of possible links between D4vd and the once-reported-missing Rivas has attracted headlines. According to TMZ, they shared tattoos, and he wrote a song mentioning the name Celeste; The Los Angeles Times reported that police are examining photos that might show them together.
Now, D4vd is facing new claims from a different source: a former teacher of Rivas, who was reported missing from her California home in 2024.

The former teacher’s video has been reported by TMZand Fox 11 Los Angeles. It’s gone viral on TikTok.
The video shows the teacher, who is not named, in a classroom, showing his students a photo of Rivas and indicating that she used to be his student.
“That’s her in my classroom in front of this poster right here,” the teacher said, to gasps from the students. He also said that another student of his was photographed with D4vd in a picture published by TMZ to demonstrate that D4vd was allegedly in a neighborhood near Rivas’s home.
“She’s been missing since I taught her,” said the teacher.
“When I taught her, she met this dude on social media. He was a rapper in LA,” he alleged in the video. “He came and got her. She ran away from home. She was gone for, like, a month. The cops found her in Hollywood, brought her back to our school.”
The teacher said Rivas told other students that story and then “disappeared again.”
He further alleged that people were “blackmailing” the rapper “and all of this stuff. And then I found out yesterday that she’s now dead.”
“You want to know how they met? Social media,” he claimed.
Authorities have not commented on the video or the accusations in it.
