Last week, authorities made a grim discovery as a dismembered, decomposing body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla registered to 20-year-old star singer D4vd. The body was identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, and now a detail appears to link the girl to the singer.

Matching Tattoos
Before the body was identified, officials shared that the individual had a tattoo on her right index finger that said “Shhh…” During a recent interview with TMZ, Celeste Rivas’ mother confirmed that her daughter did indeed get the tattoo on her right index finger, though she added that it was in red ink.
TMZ also pointed out on Wednesday that Rivas’ tattoo actually matched a tattoo that D4vd has on his hand. Like Rivas’, D4vd’s tattoo is on his right index finger. Unlike Rivas’ tattoo, D4vd’s tattoo appears to have been done in black ink.
TMZ combed through photos of the artist from April through the beginning of August 2024, and he did not have the aforementioned tattoo. The first photo the outlet found where D4vd had the tattoo was from September 2024.
It’s worth noting, as TMZ points out, that the tattoo is not necessarily unique. Rihanna popularized the tattoo on her right index finger back in 2008. Since then, other stars like Lindsay Lohan and Lily Allen have been seen with the tattoo.
Rivas’ Boyfriend Was Named David
Rivas’ mother also shared another detail with TMZ that could potentially link her daughter to the singer.
During her conversation with the outlet last week, the mother shared that her daughter had been missing for over a year, and she grew suspicious when the body was found in the Tesla because her daughter’s boyfriend was named David.
TMZ spoke with Rivas’ mother before the body was identified and provided her contact information to the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division.
A representative for D4vd declined a request for comment from TMZ, telling the outlet that they do not want to interfere with the ongoing police investigation. A spokesperson for the artist previously said that he would cooperate with the investigation.
Authorities have not listed a suspect or a person of interest in the case.
