D4vd song leaks online – where he sings of someone with the same name as body in his Tesla

A Tesla owned by singer D4vd – real name David Anthony Burke – was reported to Los Angeles earlier this month after a “foul odour” was coming from the vehicle. Inside, a human body was found – which yesterday was confirmed to be 15 year old Celeste Rivas Hernandez who had been a missing person for over a year. D4vd had been out of Los Angeles for a month when the discovery was made as he was on tour, and the tour continued as he was fully co-operating with police and hadn’t been arrested or named a suspect. Yesterday, when the body in the Tesla was identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, D4vd cancelled his scheduled tour date for that night. A song allegedly from the unreleased D4vd discography has now done the rounds online, where in the lyrics he sings at length about a girl named Celeste.

The context

The Los Angeles Police Department came across the body on September 8 when people phoned in complaining of a “foul odour” from a vehicle in a tow yard. The car had reportedly been in the tow yard for a few days, with the body stashed in the front boot inside a bag. D4vd’s representative told NBC that he “has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.” Crocs and Hollister soon removed advertising campaigns featuring D4vd “with respect” for the ongoing investigation.

Police then revealed the body as belonging to a teenage girl between “14 and 15 years old.” The body was later named as Hernandez.

The police also said she was 5’1, weighing 71lbs and with black hair. She also had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…” When she was discovered, the girl was wearing a tube top, black leggings, a metal stud earring, and a chain bracelet in the shape of a “W.”

An unreleased song has resurfaced named Celeste

After the authorities released the name of the body found in D4vd’s Tesla to be Celeste Rivas Hernandez, an unreleased song by D4vd leaked online. The song is titled Celeste, and was allegedly recorded by D4vd and producer Scott James “in late 2023”.

The lyrics go:

Oh, Celeste
The girl with my name tattooed on her chest

Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes
I hear her voice each time I take a breath
I’m obsessed
Oh, Celeste

Afraid you’ll only love me when undressed
But you look so damn gorgeous in that dress
Missing you so much makes me depressed
But I digress, because
