The mystery of Celeste Rivas Hernandez continues to unravel ever since the 15-year-old teenager was discovered dead inside the trunk of singer D4vd’s Tesla.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Rivas Hernandez as the dismembered human remains found in the vehicle. The agency’s database lists her date of death as September 8, 2025. The cause of death is not clear.
Now, a photo has emerged that, according to TMZ, allegedly shows D4vd only .3 miles from Hernandez’s house. D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has a large Spotify following for songs, including one named “Romantic Homicide.”
The Photo Shows D4vd Standing Within Walking Distance of Celeste Rivas’s Home, Reports Say
According to TMZ, the photo shows D4vd “interacting with another man who was holding a bag” in Lake Elsinore, CA, about .3 miles from Rivas Hernandez’s family home.
She was living there when she was reported missing in April 2024, TMZ reported.
Another photo circulated online showing D4vd with a young woman who some people believe resembles Rivas Hernandez, although it has been confirmed that it is her, TMZ reported.

The body was discovered inside a bag in the car at Hollywood Tow after it was reported abandoned; employees “reported a strong odor,” according to NBC Los Angeles. The body was “wrapped in a unique container,” NBC Los Angeles reported, and The Los Angeles Times reported that Rivas’s body consisted of a “head and torso.”
D4vd Has the Same Tattoo as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, Reports Say
To be clear, D4vd has not been accused by authorities in connection with the teenager’s death. However, a series of concerning details have emerged:
- The singer and Rivas Hernandez had the same “Shhh…” tattoo.
- D4vd sang a song named “Celeste.”
- Rivas Hernandez’s mom said she had a boyfriend named “David,” TMZ reported.
According to ABC7, Rivas Hernandez had run away from home before and hadn’t been heard from since May 2024. Police have searched a home near where the Tesla was discovered in an impound lot, the television station reported.
