Emmerdale has dropped a tense new spoiler video, and it’s left fans fearing the worst.
In the clip, viewers see John slipping into Aaron’s hospital room, where he lies unconscious after the dramatic cliff accident, where John pulled Aaron with him, which left the pair seriously injured and Aaron fighting for his life. As John sits silently beside his comatose husband, the mood is ominous. Fans have been quick to speculate: Could John be planning to finish what he started? Could this be the moment he kills Aaron to stop the truth from ever coming out?
The video arrives just after a jaw-dropping week in the Dales, and if the hospital visit is anything to go by, the danger is far from over.
Thursday’s (11th September) explosive hour-long episode saw the culmination of John’s unravelling.
Robert accused John outright of being behind Mack’s disappearance and a string of other horrors in the village. But John, fully unhinged at this point, refused to back down. The argument quickly turned physical, and Robert is left unconscious on the floor.

As John checked for signs of life and found his brother breathing, he was momentarily relieved, but that relief didn’t last long. He soon noticed that Aaron had made a break for it.
In the woods, Aaron is frantic. Desperate to uncover what happened to Mack, he searched for the hidden hatch he believed would hold the answers. But before he could get far, he found himself cornered once again, this time at the edge of a deep gorge.
Spinning around, Aaron is stunned to come face-to-face with John. Trying to spin another lie, John attempts to manipulate Aaron once more, but it is clear his façade is falling apart. Aaron demands the truth about Mack, and John, rattled, appeared to consider finally coming clean. He even reaches for his phone, seemingly ready to call the police.
That’s when Robert arrives, and everything implodes.
John, now believing he’d been set up, flies into a rage. Overcome with betrayal, he calls the police to report Robert… before grabbing Aaron and plunging off the cliff with him.
Robert, stunned and devastated, looks over the edge and sees both men lying motionless below. He immediately calls 999, but it’s already too late. The damage has been done, and all signs of blame seem to point to him.
As emergency services arrive, suspicions turn to Robert. Despite his pleas and desperate attempts to explain what really happened, no one is ready to believe him. Chas, broken and scared, becomes convinced that Robert was responsible for the fall and vows to make him pay.
Now, in this new spoiler video, the tension reaches new heights.
As Aaron lies in a hospital bed, still unconscious, viewers watch in stunned silence as John sneaks into his hospital room and worries about what he could potentially do to Aaron.
There are no doctors or police in sight. Just John, the man who dragged Aaron off a cliff, staring at him as he lies defenceless and vulnerable.
Given John’s history, including suspected murder and manipulation, fans are terrified this may be the moment he silences Aaron for good. After all, Aaron knows too much. If he wakes up and tells the truth, John’s secrets are all but guaranteed to come crashing down.
Meanwhile, Robert has rushed to the hospital, fearful for Aaron’s life. Though he’s devastated and terrified, there’s little sympathy for him from the rest of the village. Even Chas refuses to believe his version of events.
As the emotional fallout plays out at the hospital, the police arrive, not to arrest John, but to take Robert into custody. They believe he is responsible for what happened on the cliff, an accusation that could see Robert facing serious charges.
All the while, Aaron remains unconscious, unaware of the chaos happening around him.
With Aaron’s fate hanging in the balance, and John apparently free to roam the hospital unnoticed, Emmerdale fans are bracing themselves for another bombshell twist.
Will Aaron wake up in time to expose the truth? Will John try to kill him before he can? And if Aaron survives, will the village finally believe Robert’s story?
So far, all signs point to danger, betrayal, and another possible tragedy. And if John is willing to throw himself off a cliff to protect his secrets, there’s no telling what he might do next.
