After the photos of Trejo in a wheelchair were released, TMZ learned from a source close to the actor that he had undergone a knee replacement surgery. Traveling through the airports in a wheelchair is convenient and easier on the actor.
With Trejo perfectly alright, he also revealed his excitement for his upcoming project with the History Channel. The series Mysteries Unearthed with Danny Trejo returns for Season 2, which is set to premiere on Nov. 11, 2025.
