Felix Baumgartner, who became famous for leaping from a hot air balloon back to earth from outer space, has died in a paragliding crash in Italy.
The daredevil, 56, reportedly crashed his glider into a hotel pool after feeling unwell before the flight, Italian media reported.
A woman was also left injured after being struck by Baumgartner as he fell to the ground.
Her condition is not serious, according to initial reports.
