Héctor and Donovan, the two arrested for the murder of lawyer David Cohen Sacal, are charged with qualified homicidebut only the second is accused of bribery, carrying a firearm and crimes against health.
The first to be captured was Héctor, 18 years old, who was apprehended moments after the attack at the Ciudad Judicial facilities, in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office.
The detainee is accused of qualified homicide, a crime for which he was already linked to trial on October 17 and for which he remains in the Oriente Prison.

While Donovan was arrested on October 15 in the streets of the Iztapalapa mayor’s office.
The local Secretariat of Citizen Security reported that he was arrested in possession of drugs and a firearm, for which he was taken to the South Prison.
The crimes for which he was initially charged were bribery, carrying a firearm and ill health.
During the initial hearing for these crimes, the defense of the 20-year-old young man requested the extension of the constitutional term, so it would be resumed on Wednesday, October 22.
However, this Tuesday morning, investigative police officers completed an arrest warrant at the South Prison against Donovan.on this occasion he is accused of qualified homicide.

Hours later he was transferred to the headquarters of the Oral Trial Courts, in the Doctores neighborhood, where his defense again requested the extension of the constitutional term to know all the videos and evidence recorded in the investigation folder.
The hearing of the second defendant for the murder of David Cohen will resume on Friday, October 24.
The lawyer of the young man detained in Iztapalapa, Enrique Mayen, He stated that the first three crimes for which he is accused are unfounded.
