In his Instagram post, which you can read in full here, Brooklyn Beckham wrote, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.’”
Brooklyn accused the family of “performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships.” He accused his mother Victoria of calling him “evil” and dancing “inappropriately” at his wedding, among other allegations. The lengthy post is no longer visible on Brooklyn’s Instagram story.
Brooklyn Joseph Beckham “was born on March 3, 1999, in Westminster, London, England. He grew up between Madrid and Los Angeles,” where his dad was playing soccer, according to TV Insider. He has worked as a model, photographer, and hosted a social media cooking show.
He married Nicola Peltz in 2022. She is the daughter of a “billionaire investor and former model,” according to People.

Cruz Beckham has more than 2 million Instagram followers but has not taken aim at his family. Rather, he posted a photo of an electric guitar to his Instagram story as the controversy brewed.
According to People, he previously debunked a Daily Mail story alleging his parents blocked Brooklyn. “NOT TRUE,” Cruz wrote. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I.”
Cruz Beckham is forging a music career. He launched it in October 2025, at age 20, with singles Optics and Lick The Toad, according to NME, which added that he is assisted by The Kooks’ Luke Pritchard.

Brooklyn hopes to have a relationship with 14-year-old Harper despite his family estrangement, according to Daily Mail. Harper Beckham’s Instagram page is private.
According to Heart, “Her name was inspired by the author Harper Lee, who wrote the famous To Kill A Mockingbird, and of course, ‘Seven’ comes from David’s football shirt.” She has been seen with her family on the red carpet and attends a private school in England, according to Heart.
