Things went from bad to worse between Meg and Dejon on Love Island’s Movie Night after he was seen calling Andrada his “babygirl,” but his friend has now backed him up.
Meg was furious that he used that word to describe the Casa Amor bombshell, claiming he was flirting with her a lot more seriously than he was letting on.
However, Dejon quickly clapped back by telling her he calls everyone “babygirl,” so it wasn’t that deep. Meg wasn’t having any of it, but it turns out, it’s true!
One of Dejon’s pals, a girl called El, has shared a video from 2019 on TikTok that shows him calling her “babygirl,” even though are were just friends.
“Babygirl is in fact part of Dejon’s language,” she wrote in text on the screen, defending the Love Islander. Awkward!
“Meg ain’t gonna like this,” someone said in the comments, while another joked: “Delete before she sees it.”
@els.m__ From 2019 btw – Sorry broski

El also clarified that she and Dejon have “only ever been friends,” so the word “babygirl” definitely wasn’t used in a romantic way. Well, I guess he was telling the truth.
When Meg pulled D about the comment, he said: “I call my friends ‘babygirl,’ you’ve heard me say ‘babygirl’ before.”
“Me personally, I would not close off with someone if I was still acting like that,” she replied. “How can you be like that two days ago with Andrada, and now close things off with me?”
Meg told Dejon he was “playing a game” and he got up and walked off, adding: “I’ve told you how I feel, and you’re telling me I’m playing a game.”
She told Helena she was totally “done” with the situation, but didn’t refuse a hug from Dejon in bed. Is this really the end for them? Something’s telling me no.
