The Political-Electoral Reform Commission chaired by the Morenoist deputy Victor Hugo Lobo approved the organization of forums, debates and public hearings in various entities of the country and the invitation of specialists in electoral matters.
Prior to the approval of the electoral reform, they will have various topics such as: democracy and transformation, representation of the people and effectiveness of the vote; youth and democracy; citizen participation and democracy, challenge of the political party system; public financing, transparency, accountability; freedom of expression, opinion and right to information; new technologies in democracy; the forum on federalism and democracy; forums on substantive equality and parity.

Likewise, international experiences and Latin Americacitizen participation forums, to deepen and review electoral justice.
“What has to do with propaganda, media and networks, such as freedom of expression of opinion,” said deputy Víctor Hugo Lobo.
They also include forums on transparency and equity, electoral reform activities in states, municipalities, migration and democracy.
Likewise, the importance of National Electoral Institute (INE), the permanence of the OPLEsimpartiality and the protection of democracy, among many other approaches.

“So this Reform Commission presents this work program that is obviously not limiting, it is fed with the opinion and with the approaches and confirmation of many and many interested parties, and that is why it fulfills the powers of exposing its work objective, the methodology to achieve the specific activities to be developed, among some others,” added the legislator.
