Dionne Warwick has shared an update on her health after she was forced to cancel a string of upcoming concerts.
The I Say A Little Prayer singer sparked concern earlier this week when she revealed that she felt ‘unbearable’ pain before flying to London for the Soul Town festival, leading her to pull out of her appearance.
Taking to Twitter, the 84-year-old begged fans not to worry as she opened up about the reason for the cancellation.
‘As most of you may know, I’ve had to cancel a few shows due to emergency leg surgery,’ she posted.
‘I’m doing okay, do not worry! However, I need some show/movie recommendations while on the mend. Not Emily in Paris. Love you all.’
Right on cue, fans rushed to offer the music legend their best wishes for a speedy recovery – and some suggestions for streaming hits.
However, she doubled down on wanting nothing to do with Lily Collins’ hit show when Twitter user Charrise Lane made note of it.
‘I have no interest and her work visa has definitely expired by now…,’ she replied.
And just like that, our hopes for a Dionne cameo in season five have been dashed.
It was previously revealed that the Heartbreaker superstar would be backing out of her planned performance at New York State Fair, after being slated to perform on the Chevy Court stage on September 1.

At the time, organizers said this was due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’, with country duo Locash stepping in at the last minute.
On Tuesday, she confirmed that she couldn’t travel to the UK for the Soul Town festival – where she was due to perform tomorrow – after needing to undergo emergency surgery.
‘Please know how disappointed I am not to be with you at the Soul Town Festival. The last thing I expected was to have surgery the day I was to fly to London,’ she said.
‘Pain was unbearable and my doctor rushed me into surgery thank goodness, as it could’ve resulted in something far worse.
‘Hopefully we can do this festival again in the future, and I’ll be walking like a normal person. Please keep me in prayer and I’ll see you soon.’
Dionne proudly boasts a huge career spanning several decades, having been discovered in the 60s – in that time, she has sold over 100million records around the world and collected multiple Grammys.
She has blessed us with a string of hits including Do You Know The Way To San Jose, I’ll Never Fall In Love Again, Then Came You, That’s What Friends Are For and Heartbreaker.
Shedding light on her time in the spotlight in a recent chat with Metro, she insisted that, while she is ‘not 12 any longer’, she has no thoughts about slowing down.

‘I will know [it’s time to stop] when I am not able to reach the bar that I’ve set for myself,’ she told us. ‘When I cannot perform the songs that I do, the way that they should be done, that’s when I would hang up my other ballet slippers, and go slowly.’
Speaking of planning tours, she vowed that her age doesn’t mean she should put limitations on herself.
‘It can be a little bit maddening,’ she added. ‘But just taking the time to think, “Okay, let’s not do this this way. Let’s do it this way, instead, if we’re going to do it all”.
‘The point that it becomes my job because I never, ever wanted to work, yeah, when it becomes a job, that’s when you see me saying, “Goodbye, thanks very much.”’
