Vacationers who have visited Disney World’s beloved Magic Kingdom theme park in Florida at any point over the past 50-plus years have been greeted by one massively popular landmark—Cinderella Castle. The towering castle has become one of the most popular and often-talked-about aspects of entering Magic Kingdom, and now it’s set to undergo a significant paint job, as Disney revealed at Destination D23 during the “Beyond the Spires: An Insider Look at Disney Castles” panel.
Details of the new Cinderella Castle color palette were revealed in more detail by Disney Parks Blog, which states that the change is “inspired by the classic and original look of the castle.”

As the website details, the updated look will feature grays, creams, blues, and touches of gold. The focus is built around a color palette that can “enhance the castle’s architecture.” A rendering of the expected new look was posted by the Disney Parks Instagram account.
The current look of Cinderella Castle features a light pink shade as the primary color, along with blues, grays and golds. The decision to bring the primary color back to white allows Disney to revive the “classic” look, which many would agree is a fan-favorite color scheme.
