Though Disneyland is *technically* fun for all ages, I think most of us would agree that Disney adults are collectively some of the most insufferable people on the planet. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with loving a particular company or franchise, but more often than not, they take it to the extreme. I’ve got nothing against Mickey Mouse, but with more pent-up energy than the literal children visiting the iconic park for the first time, Disney adults have a habit of making you want to throw poor Mickey in a fire.
In a now-viral TikTok, with 7.2 million views and nearly 800k likes, someone shared a clip from Disneyland After Dark. While journeying on the Jungle Cruise, a staple of the park that opened in 1955, one Disneyland staff member “crashed out” over Disney adults.

He said, “Will you please just stay home next time, please, just stay home. If you’re 25 and you’re thinking about coming to Disneyland, don’t.
“Folks, it is After Dark, and that means I can say what I wanna say. Disney adults are genuinely weird. I’m talking about you guys. There are no kids on this cruise. Why are you here? This isn’t on the script, this isn’t part of the bit. I genuinely think you guys are weird for being on this cruise. At least when kids are riding, they laugh; you guys just sit there on your phones. You paid $500 to be here today, and you don’t even have a good excuse for doing it because you’re all at least 20.”
But it doesn’t stop there, because the unnamed employee was soon branding them all losers as he said they should have been at a party.
“What the hell is that? Go to a club, go to a party, or stay inside. Don’t bring the vibe down on my cruise. It’s weird, Mickey Mouse isn’t your friend, trust me, I know he’s my boss,” he added. “He bleeds me like a vampire. The magic of this place should have worn off for you guys when you reached the age of 12, and now I just gotta deal with your goofy asses ruining the act. So I’m seriously pleading with you.”
Preach.
The Disneyland employee ‘deserves a raise’ for dealing with Disney adults
As you might expect, most comments were firmly on the side of the Disneyland employee, with one Disney Adult hater responding: “Be a real adult and go to Universal Studios.”
“I would’ve been dying, that shit is so funny,” another wrote, as someone else echoed, “Facts !!!! Then the Disney adults get annoyed with kids being there.”
Of course, there were some pro-Disney adult commenters, as one person argued: “Some adults didn’t get to experience Disney when they were younger.”
“There’s nothing wrong with being a Disney adult—it’s just another way of holding on to joy,” another wrote.
