Donald Trump has faced mounting pressure to disclose if he has any health issues after he appeared to drop off the radar over the Labour Day weekend.
Announcing the location of the new Space Command HQ in Huntsville, Alabama, at the Oval Office earlier today, Trump was asked if he had heard the rumours of his demise.
In response, Trump said: ‘It’s sort of crazy, but last week, I did numerous news conferences, all successful. They went very well, like this is going very well.
‘And then I didn’t do any for two days, and they said there must be something wrong with him.
‘Biden wouldn’t do any for months. You wouldn’t see him, and nobody ever said there was ever anything wrong with him, and we know he wasn’t in the greatest of shape.
The US president has batted away rumours of his death and ill health as ‘fake news’.

‘Well, it’s fake news, you know, it’s just so it’s so fake. That’s why the media has so little credibility.’
The lack of events on Trump’s schedule last Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, and the president’s time spent away during Labour Day weekend in Washington have raised eyebrows.
Photos of Trump walking to his car have also faced scrutiny, with users online analysing every pixel of the photo and claiming he looks different.
Yet, the conspicuous silence from the normally bombastic leader flooded dark corners of the internet with rumours of his untimely demise.

It comes after the 79-year-old was spotted with poorly blended and colour-matched concealer on his hand, sparking rumours of bruising and cannula usage.
He appeared to be using make-up on his hand again at the Oval Office today.
Similar rumours spread when Joe Biden wasn’t seen for a few days in 2024, with Republican pundits posting questions about his whereabouts online.
