Drake Maye and his wife, Ann Michael Maye, are a power couple in New England. The New England Patriots’ QB’s wife even has her own TikTok baking show.
Now, as he leads the Patriots in a playoff game, Drake has opened up about his relationship and the dynamics within his marriage. He shared that his wife has a competitive nature, just like he does, which is one reason their relationship works. Drake Maye and his wife appear to make their marriage work by doing fun activities together.
The couple married in 2025 after dating since 2020, and Ann Michael Maye has become a “fan favorite” in New England, US Weekly reported. However, they actually first met as teenagers, according to People, and they went to the same college together at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Drake Maye shared that the couple have competed in board games. “She started playing mahjong,” Maye said, according to US Weekly. “I haven’t gotten into that. Something like that. Playing Battleship or cards or anything that goes off of me playing her.”
He also praised his wife’s athletic skills in the interview, saying, “She’ll try anything we can compete in. She’s a great athlete.”

The QB was asked about his wife by reporters again on January 21. Drake said he was “just enjoying it all,” according to a video shared on X. “My wife has gotten on me because a bunch of other people have gone onto the field after the game and we haven’t yet,” he added.

“It was pretty cool with the snow and just taking time to enjoy it with the people that I love,” Drake told reporters.

Ann Michael Maye’s Instagram page is full of family and wedding photos. “What a night! Cheers to forever🥂I love you!” she wrote with a wedding picture from June 2025.

Just days before the January 25 playoff game, she expressed her love for the Patriots.
She also shared a colorful “game day” outfit on her Instagram story on January 25.
Ann Maye has had millions of likes on her TikTok page and baking videos.
She also shares videos showing her dinner recipes. “Home cooking during the weeknights just got better,” she wrote with one video, sharing a recipe for “Pesto Chicken salad lettuce wraps!”
She has also shared brunch recipes and high-protein meals. Her holiday baking series, called “Bakemas,” has led to a new television baking show.
Maye and NBC 10 Boston/NBC Sports Boston “are teaming up for a baking show, titled ‘Beyond Bakemas with Ann Michael Maye,'” Boston.com reported.
“I’m here in the kitchen at NBC Sports Boston. Just finished filming my baking show, ‘Beyond Bakemas,’” Maye said in a video. “I’m so excited for you guys all to see it, so be sure to stay tuned in.”
