Drones have been spotted flying about yet another airport in Denmark, causing all flights to be grounded.
Flights to and from Aalborg Airport, in the north of the country, have been suspended for the past hour.
Four flights have been impacted, including two SAS flights, one Norwegian and one KLM flight, Aalborg Airport said.
No flights are listed on the airport’s online departure board, while two domestic flights and another from Germany are scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning.
Police said on X: ‘Drones have been observed near Aalborg Airport and the airspace is closed.
‘The police are present and investigating further.’
Copenhagen Airport was grounded on Monday after drones were sighted whizzing near the border.
Police officials said people trying to ‘show off’ were behind the drones.
Jens Jespersen, police inspector in Copenhagen Police, told reporters this morning: ‘There is nothing to suggest that they intended to harm anyone. They intended to show off.
The incidents came after Poland, Estonia, and Romania accused Russia of violating their airspace this month, allegations that Moscow has shrugged off.
