AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – The Aiken Department of Public Safety made an arrest in a deadly motorcycle crash that left a woman dead.
55-year-old Christopher Hogan has been charged with Felony DUI in the death of Summer Poole.
Reports say on July 26th, the 28-year-old victim was riding her motorcycle when Hogan turned in front of her, causing her to crash into the passenger side of his vehicle. She was thrown from her bike and fell onto the pavement.
Law enforcement spoke with other occupants in Hogan’s car who reportedly told them that he consumed 3 White Claws before driving.
Hogan remains in the Aiken County Detention Center.
No word of if/when charges will be upgraded.
