EastEnders is set for an explosive week as a terrifying gun showdown could leave one resident fighting for their life.
It’s bound to be a busy old week for the residents of Albert Square, as Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) makes her grand return and the Truemans’ wedding gets underway.
But disaster strikes and lives are left hanging in the balance!
The drama kicks off when Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) stumbles across a gun. After his multitude of recent dramas, it’s probably something he could afford to avoid.
But this is Oscar. Of course he doesn’t.
But who does the weapon belong to, and what happens next? Metro has all of the answers…
Gun horror in Walford
Frightened and unsure of what to do, Oscar turns to his uncle Jack (Scott Maslen) for help. Naturally, he’s horrified by what his nephew has discovered.

Unbeknownst to them, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) has overheard their conversation.
As viewers will see in scenes that air this week, Ravi finds associate Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) showing off a gun to Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), and instructs him to dispose of it.
Harry is caught off guard when George Knight (Colin Salmon) confronts him over his dismissal of daughter Gina (Francesca Henry), but luckily finds opportunity to dispose of it.
Later, he’d reprimanded by Ravi and told to move it somewhere more secure. When he goes to retrieve it, he pales to finds it’s vanished.
Next week, Ravi is desperate to get the gun back before it’s too late, he makes a reckless decision and breaks into the Branning household.
But just as he’s sneaking out, he’s spotted by none other than former lover Denise Fox (Diane Parish).
Later, while everyone gathers at The Vic for Patrick and Yolande’s (Rudolph Walker and Angela Wynter) wedding reception, Denise pulls Jack to one side and tells him what she saw.

Putting the pieces together, he realises Ravi’s break-in was no coincidence and that the gun is at the centre of it all.
An Albert Square resident is shot…
Determined to confront Ravi, Jack storms off. But what begins as a tense face-off quickly spirals out of control.
Moments later, the entire Square is rocked when the sound of a gunshot rings through their ears.
Panic spreads fast among the stunned guests at The Vic, who duck to take cover. The music stops, and the joy of the wedding turns to fear as news emerges – someone has been shot.
