Elon Musk’s father has been accused of sexually abusing five of his children, including two allegedly abused as toddlers.
Errol Musk, 79, touched his stepdaughter when she was 4 years old, before later going on to father a child with her, The New York Times reported.
The newspaper cited letters, emails and interviews with family members to detail claims that Errol groped the buttocks of his 5-year-old son and allegedly abused two of his daughters and a stepson.
The tech billionaire’s father has categorically denied the accusations, calling the reports ‘false and nonsense in the extreme’.
Errol accused his family members of ‘putting the children up to say false things’ and of trying to extort Elon for money.
Elon has previously said his father had done ‘almost every evil thing you could possibly think of’ in an interview with Rolling Stone in 2017.

Relatives have contacted the CEO of X over the accusations against his father and he has sometimes taken action to intervene, the New York Times said in reference to personal letters, emails and interviews.
Elon Musk and his lawyer did not immediately respond to Metro‘s request for comment.
The accusations against the thrice-married Errol, who has at least nine children and stepchildren, date back to 1993 and span South Africa and California.
The New York Times said the first allegation against Errol is that his four-year-old stepdaughter told relatives he had touched her at the family house.
The stepdaughter reportedly claimed a decade later that she caught him sniffing her dirty underwear.

The now former stepdaughter has said she later had a child with Errol.
In 2022, their son, then aged 5, said that he had been groped by his father, family members claimed.
Errol’s former stepdaughter also accused her stepdad of abusing two of his daughters and his stepson, according to an interim protection order cited by the newspaper.
Errol has refuted every single allegation of sexual abuse put to him by The New York Times.
He told the newspaper: ‘There was no evidence because this is nonsense.’
Errol called the accusations that he had abused his stepson ‘nonsense’ and that he had abused his two daughters ‘absurd’.
To the allegation that he sniffed his stepdaughter’s underwear, Errol said he had been cleaning up her room after finding it in a ‘terrible state’.
The New York Times said three police investigations were opened, referencing police and court records, as well as family members’ accounts.

Two of the inquiries ended without action and it is unclear what happened in the third investigation.
Family members also claimed that Elon began paying Errol’s former stepdaughter 30,000 rand (£1,287) a month since 2023.
The tech tycoon rarely discusses his father and has described a rocky relationship with him.
In the 2017 Rolling Stone profile, he said he had lived with Errol at the age of 10 while his siblings stayed with his mum.
He told the publication: ‘My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil. He will plan evil.’
