AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Augusta Housing & Community Development is accepting applications for the federally funded Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA2) Program.
This program helps eligible Augusta-Richmond County households cover rent, utility bills, and housing-related needs.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING HARD COPIES FOR:
RENTAL ASSISTANCE – Valid photo IDs for all occupants 18 and older, Social Security cards for ALL household members, Current lease agreement, Rental payment history (up to12 months) If Applicable, Proof of income for the previous two months (If Unemployed a WG15 from Georgia, Department of Labor is required) Any notices to pay or eviction paperwork filed with the court.
UTILITIES ASSISTANCE – Valid photo IDs for all occupants 18 and older, Social Security cards for ALL household members, Current lease/mortgage agreement, Outstanding utility bills (Water, Gas, Electric) NO PREPAY BILLS, Proof of income for the previous two months (If Unemployed an WG15 from Georgia Department of Labor is required)

Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
