
Eurostar passengers travelling to and from Paris are facing severe disruption and cancellations following a power outage.
The blackout occurred near Moussy, around 30 miles north of Paris, at 8.30am, on a stretch of the French rail network SNCF.
Eurostar revealed on X that eight trains running from London to Paris have been cancelled.
The rail corridor’s timetable shows that of the 17 trains scheduled from London St Pancras to Paris today, six have been delayed.
Eurostar has warned travellers during the height of the summer travel season to postpone their journeys if possible.
