Tommy Fury’s new documentary Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury just dropped, and it features all of his closest family members – apart from his mum.
The boxer shows a pic and briefly mentions how much he appreciates her, saying: “I owe everything to my mother, I wouldn’t be sat here right now if it wasn’t for her.
“She never went out on the town, she qualified in her degree, there was always a meal on the table. She didn’t have money to put fuel in the car, but she would still take me to the gym.”
However, other than that, she’s not in the show at all. So, who is Tommy Fury’s mum? And why isn’t she in the documentary? Here’s everything you need to know about her.
So, who is Tommy Fury’s mum?
Tommy’s mum is a woman called Chantal Fury, whose background is from Mauritius. She married his dad, John Fury, in 1989, and they have two sons together, Tommy and Roman.
Chantel and John are still together in 2025, remaining a couple despite him being sentenced to 11 years in prison in 2011. He was jailed for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after gouging a man’s eye out in a fight at a car auction.

Chantal Fury stays away from the limelight
Chantal presumably doesn’t enjoy being on camera, which is why she isn’t seen in public much and didn’t feature in Tommy’s new documentary. It seems like she prefers to live a private life away from the spotlight.
However, she did actually fly to Majorca to see the boxer on Love Island villa in 2016 and tell him she was “so proud” of him. When she arrived in the Majorca villa, Tommy shouted: “This woman has not been on a plane in 16 years!”
She also went to Tommy’s Manchester premiere for his documentary in August, walking the red carpet with John, Tommy and Roman. This is the first time she’s been seen in public in years.
She has appeared on Tommy’s Instagram before
Chantel has cropped up in a few of Tommy and Molly-Mae’s Instagram posts before.
A few months after Bambi was born, Molly shared an adorable photo of Tommy’s mum holding their daughter and wrote: “Granny’s birthday.”

Tommy also took her out for Mother’s Day and said: “Love you mum. Without you, there is no me.”
