Former Orlando Pirates quartet of Andile Jali, Bienvenu Eva Nga, Craig Martin and Justice Chabalala have been released by Chippa United.
The four players headline a list of 15 players axed by Chippa United ahead of the 2025-26 PSL season.
For Jali, this doesn’t come as a huge surprise given that rumours had already been there that he would be axed.
The same can be said about Eva Nga whose agent was on record to say they had been in talks with the Chilli Boys over a possible renewal.
This was when reports suggested that Eva Nga could be moving to Kaizer Chiefs as one of their newest strikers next season.
Meanwhile, Siphelo Baloni will return to parent club Pirates as he was on a season-long loan deal.
Also on the list of returnees are Aphelele Teto (Livingston of Scottland) and Sonwabile Khumalo (Orbit College).
Now, newly-appointed coach Sinethemba Badela will have to go to the market to sign new players for the club.
