Exclusive: Bonnie Blue received multiple warnings before OnlyFans permanently banned her

So, last week, OnlyFans dramatically announced that the famous (or infamous) content creator Bonnie Blue was now banned from the platform. Bonnie Blue sat down with The Tab to explain step by step exactly how this came about. Apparently, OnlyFans actually issued a warning and a temporary ban to Bonnie Blue before they permanently deactivated her account.

Bonnie Blue says OnlyFans sent her a warning back in May, but she ignored it.

Do you remember in May, when an announcement of a Bonnie Blue UK “dogging tour” went viral? The Tab uncovered that the whole thing was a hoax by a comedy Facebook page called NOW This Is What I Call British Banter. It was a joke, in imitation of an event that the OnlyFans content creator Lily Phillips planned but seemingly never completed.

The OnlyFans team thought Bonnie Blue was breaching their guidelines about “extreme challenge content”.

She explained to The Tab: “The warning was for a dogging tour, which I never spoke about. But the press thought it was me. And I said to OnlyFans, ‘Hey, here’s all the evidence’. And they still dismissed it and gave me the formal warning for it. I was like, ‘I don’t even know what to say. I was like, ‘You’re an £8 billion company, and I’m getting a formal warning for something I haven’t done.’”

Bonnie Blue chose not to take any action following this warning, because she hadn’t organised the “dogging tour”, so believed she hadn’t broken OnlyFans’s policy.

OnlyFans then temporarily banned Bonnie Blue from the platform for seven days. She told The Tab: “They gave me a ban because they said they’d given me a warning, which I ignored.”

OnlyFans thought Bonnie’s proposed “petting zoo” stunt would violate their user guidelines. Bonnie planned to be tied up in a glass box on 15th June, and to sleep with 2,000 men.

“They didn’t like the idea of the glass box. They said it was against their terms and conditions. In their terms and conditions, at no point does it say you can’t do a glass box event at all. But I was like, ‘Okay, that’s fine.’

“And within that six days of their temporary ban, I removed all content of it happening. I had done podcasts and I even said, ‘Look, I’ll pay you, but please don’t post the content.’ I then released TikToks saying the glass box is no longer going ahead… I did everything within my power to remove it.”

Bonnie says that on the day before she was supposed to regain access to her account, she received an email informing her that she was permanently banned from OnlyFans. “I was so frustrated.”

OnlyFans released a statement explaining their decision. The site believes the proposed glass box stunt counts as “extreme challenge content”, and that is against their policy. A spokesperson told Metro: “Extreme challenge content is not available on OnlyFans and is not permitted under our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. Any breach of our Terms of Service results in content or account deactivation. This is why it has been necessary to take this action. We always act when users breach our terms of service.”

Bonnie Blue feels “singled out” by the platform. She points out that there are plenty of other OnlyFans content creators who also post videos of wild challenges, but haven’t been banned yet.

“There are multiple girls that do what I do. I give them the blueprint. So they copy me, step by step, on what I do. The only difference between me and them is I get a lot more press. I don’t cry after my content and I don’t get hospitalised.

“Yes, I did barely legal content, but they’re legal.

“I understand everything thinks I’m the villain. I’m disgusting. I’m a predator. But when you have an £8 billion company speak out and say they can’t age-verify my content and that I’m the only creator to have broken terms and conditions, that’s frustrating, because that’s not true.”
