Fan sues LeBron James for pretending to retire to sell more tickets

Attention Wh*re Court.- Basketball player LeBron James is being defendant by at least one fan who bought very expensive tickets for Lakers games thinking that the player was going to retire.

A few hours ago, LeBron published on his social networks that a “second decision” was coming, alluding to that “first decision” when he decided to flee Cleveland to go ride the Heat of Miami, which gave rise to speculation that he would announce his retirement after a 23-year career (10 years longer than Jordan played, although he does not have half the achievements of His Majesty).

The “news” caused tickets to his team’s games to rise in price, especially the Lakers’ last game against the Cavs, which was supposed to be LeBron’s “farewell” after decades of generating numbers by accumulation, but without real achievements.

Thus, a fan of the team bought one of those tickets for more than $850, but as soon as the “second decision” was revealed—which was nothing more than a regrettable wine commercial—the prices fell to normal levels. The fan then decided to sue the player, not so much for his poor acting performance or for mixing elegant wine with cola, but for the property damage caused by his obvious need for attention.

The lawsuit is based on the fact that the basketball player deceived everyone with his supposed retirement, which inflated the cost of the tickets, and now they are no longer worth even a tenth of what he paid for them. A situation in which, surely, there are many people who could well join a class action lawsuit.

The commercial has provoked a typhoon of reactions, all criticizing and vilifying LeBron for how hungry he is for attention in his twilight, so much so that he has to play with his own retirement to promote a ridiculous marketing campaign (which, according to the comments, is not even working).
