When it comes to fast food, there’s always one impossible choice to be made before ordering… should you get a burger or nuggs?
Thankfully you won’t have to worry about making the right choice anymore, as one chain is doing away with the eternal dilemma.
Wendy’s is finally bringing a beloved US menu item to the UK, as they’ve just launched the Biggie Bag here, a meal deal, which some customers have hailed as being the ‘best value’ in fast food.
And the best part? It has both nuggets and a burger in it, meaning you won’t have to pick between your favourites.
There’s are two different Biggie Bag options to choose from in the UK, including a £5 Biggie Bag, which contains a Jr. Cheeseburger, four-piece classic or spicy nuggets, small fries and a small drink.
Alternatively, you can take things up a notch with the £7.99 Biggie Bag and get a premium sandwich like Wendy’s Spicy Chicken or Dave’s Single, as well as the four-piece nuggets, small fries and a small drink.
Both deals will be available on the menu until August 2, so you’ve got a few weeks to give them a try.
But that’s not all, the chain is also adding some brand new nuggets to its line-up, launching Saucy Nuggs to ‘take things to the next level’.

These are chicken nuggets ‘dripping’ in either Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Sauce or Cattleman’s Honey BBQ sauce and they come in either a six or 10-piece serving.
Speaking about the new items, Michael Clarke, the managing director for Wendy’s Europe, said: ‘Brits cannot get enough of our Chicken Nuggets, and so it was only natural for us to level up our iconic Nuggs with even more flavour.
‘The combination of our perfectly cooked all-filet chicken nuggets with these incredible sauces creates an explosion of flavour that is set to become an instant favourite. And for those who love to dip, we’re also offering a choice of Garlic, BBQ, or Sweet Chili Dip Cups to complement your Saucy Nuggs experience. This is only the beginning of Wendy’s menu innovation, and we’ll have even more exciting menu updates to share later this year – keep your eyes peeled.’
And speaking about the Biggie Bag, he added: ‘You called, and we delivered! Wendy’s Biggie Bag is now available nationwide for all UK fans to enjoy. At Wendy’s, value is a top priority, and the Biggie Bag is all about delivering legendary quality and fresh ingredients at a price point that makes indulging in a delicious, satisfying meal accessible. The early reception of the Biggie Bag has been phenomenal, and we look forward to continuing to reward our fans with the freshest deals and flavours from Wendy’s.’
Wendy’s was founded in the USA in 1969 and has gone on to have more than 7,000 restaurants worldwide, selling its iconic square-shaped burgers, fries and a milkshake/ice cream hybrid known as a Frosty.
The chain was a staple in the UK in the 80s and 90s, before closing all of its sites here in 1999.
It re-launched in the UK in 2021, with its first location in Reading and its since opened more than 40 other new spots nationwide.
Locations include Blackpool, Cambridge, Guildford, London, Peterborough, Sheffield, Newcastle, Oxford and Wisbech.
