A fire has broken out at a block of maisonettes in south east London.
Emergency services were called to Lewisham Road, Ladywell, in the early hours of this morning.
Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters were sent to tackle the blaze after receiving calls at midnight.
The fire was not declared under control until just after 2am, around two hours after the blaze was first reported.
Pictures show the five-room flat, split across the ground and first floor, charred black with officers guarding the scene.

Windows also appear shattered with smoke stains across the exterior of the building.
The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed.
