(WJBF) – Residents across the CSRA, and even as far as Columbia, have reported seeing a fireball streak across the sky, Thursday.
NewsChannel 6 has received numerous calls and messages regarding the sighting. This video was captured on a Tesla dashcam by Bryan Jennings Updyke.
The National Weather Service says it was most likely a meteorite.
A reminder that the Bootid Meteor shower is active from June 22nd through July 2nd and expected to peak on Friday.
