French police arrested others on Wednesday night five suspects related to the robbery in the Louvre museumamong them one who could have been part of the assailant command, indicated this Thursday the Paris prosecutor, Laure Beccuau.
“One of them was actually listed as one of the objectives of the researchers; we had him in our sights,” the prosecutor said on RTL radio, adding that the stolen jewelry, worth around 88 million euros, had not yet been found.
The same night on Wednesday, two other suspects arrested on Saturday for the robbery that occurred on October 19, aged 34 and 39, were accused y imprisoned.

Both would have been members of the commando that entered through a window of the famous Parisian museum and “partially recognized the facts“said the prosecutor.
Regarding the last five detainees, he explained that they were found “DNA remains“that link one of them with the robbery, and suggested that the individual could be one of the four that made up the assailant commando.
“As for the other people detained, they are people who they can eventually inform us about the development of the events,” added Beccuau, who did not want to give details about the profile of the latter.
These five most recent arrests occurred in different parts of Paris and its periphery.
