After a stint of living in the United States, one Game of Thrones star is back in her native England–and never wants to leave again.
Turner moved back to London in 2023, one year before splitting up from her husband Joe Jonas. In an interview with Flaunt, the 29-year-old actress said she has no desire to live elsewhere now that she’s back in the U.K. near close friends and family.
“I just feel so at home here; I never want to move again,” Turned said. “Living in the States, I didn’t appreciate how much you need friends and family and how integral they are to your wellness until you’re away from them.
“I came back with an abundance of appreciation for them.”
Turner, who burst into stardom as Sansa Stark on the hit HBO show from 2011-19, was married to Jonas from 2017 until 2023, when the boy band member filed for divorce.
The split was finalized in September 2024.

Turner is back as the star of Trust, a new psychological thriller that premiered in theaters over the weekend.
“Out in theatres today, Sophie Turner plays Lauren Lane in ‘Trust’, a psychological thriller that follows a former child star who is forced to retreat away from the spotlight when her phone is hacked and personal pictures are leaked online, attempting to survive nefarious forces trying to silence her,” Flaunt wrote in its Instagram post.
Turner says she feels “lucky” to be able to play the role, adding that being a mom to Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, helped her prepare.
“Being a mother has affected me more than I can ever say. I can now bring so much of that into my work and into this film too,” Turner said.
