Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Lehlohonolo Majoro has tipped Lucas Ribeiro for the Player of the Season award.
The 26-year-old Brazilian scored 16 goals and made nine assists in 28 games to help Mamelodi Sundowns to the Betway Premiership title.
According to Majoro, Ribeiro stood out with his goal-scoring and assists for his teammates.

“That’s a very good one. There’s a couple of guys that played their role; Ribeiro from Sundowns,” ‘Major’ told the media.

“Not only a top goalscorer, he’s also a creator. He has more assists. Relebohile Mofokeng also raised his hand towards that category,” the former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates star added. “But other than those two, I don’t know who else, but like those two, are the ones that I believe one of them will be crowned Betway Player of the Season,” Majoro concluded.
