In his farewell message as president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), Francisco Cervantesasked to preserve the T-MEC and generate sufficient trust to reach relevant agreements in trade and investment.
He warned that our country will face important challenges next year with the review of the trade agreement.

After three years and nine months at the head of the CCEFrancisco Cervantes said goodbye to the business entity.

Fundamental challenges
He noted that hThere are four fundamental challenges such as intensifying economic reactivation; take care of and accelerate the investment; preserve the T-MEC and build trust sufficient to reach relevant agreements in trade and investment.
He recognized the “businessmen who always act in favor of Mexico, such as Carlos Slim Helu, Alejandro Bailleres and Germán Larrea.”

“Privileging consensus has been my motto and personal mission both in the 42 sessions of the National Council that I had to preside over, and in the 106 meetings of the Executive Commission that we held during my term,” Francisco Cervantes said.
