FREE Pantry with Inapam: How to get it and what does it include?

As part of the food support program Nourishing GAM Homesthe mayor’s office Gustavo A. Madero from Mexico City will deliver free groceries to senior citizens who have the health card National Institute of Older Adults (Inapam).

This initiative has remained active since July 1 of this year, but it will be this coming October 31 when the food delivery will end.so older adults still have a couple of days to claim this benefit.

The objective of this campaign is to facilitate access to food for older people who are in vulnerable situations, which often makes it difficult for them to obtain certain basic products, thus violating their human right to safe, nutritious and sufficient food that allows an active and healthy life.

This social program is dedicated to Seniors 60 years or olderresidents of the mayor’s office, who present their Inapam credential.

Under the terms of the project, Each pantry has an approximate value of 400 pesos and delivery is made only per beneficiary. at different authorized distribution points in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office.

Those interested can consult the delivery dates and times in the DIF modules or through the official channels of the demarcation.

Each package is made up of basic basket itemsselected to meet fundamental nutritional needs, such as:

• Jelly
• Inflated cereal
• Edible oil
• Atole
• Café
• powdered chocolate
• Rice
• Cookies
• Avena
• Soup paste
• black bean
• Refined salt
• bouillon cubes

Requirements

To access the benefit, Seniors must meet certain requirements and present official documentation in the indicated modules. Documents include:

• Valid INAPAM card as proof of senior status.
• Official identification, such as an INE credential or another valid one.
• Proof of address, which can be an electricity, water or telephone bill no older than three months.
• CURP, although in some cases it is already in the identification.
• In certain cases, it is required to fill out a request form or letter in the DIF module.
